Biggest Mistakes Made By Sponsors
Not giving it enough time - Affluent homeowners are busy, they travel a lot, are involved in many endeavors, and may take more time to gather information. However, when they do buy, they tend to be bigger customers and with a good experience will refer multiple other customers since they tend to have larger networks and more influence in those networks. Consider how long the sales cycle is and the Total Lifetime Value (TLV) of a customer from this market in considering your sponsorship.
Boring ads - While repetition is necessary, staying with the same message or not investing time to think through what will resonate with the audience results in readers "tuning out” when they see your business, or worse, seeing your firm as unimaginative.
Lack of in-person presence - While social events can be hit or miss, our top sponsors build relationships at our events that result in new customers that then refer more new customers. If we’re highly encouraging you to show up at an event, make it a priority!
