Beneficiaries

The Forage Festival is meant for the common good of the community through education and in-person fellowship.

In addition, our goal is to bolster over 50 small businesses owned by our neighbors, including the festival vendors, entertainment, foray guides, restaurants, and winery.

Last but not least, proceeds from the Festival benefit the fast-growing Innovate Academy, a private, classical Christian school for Pre-K through 8th grades, located on 24 beautiful acres in Chadds Ford. Innovate Academy nurtures the whole child--spiritually, physically, and emotionally through time-honored classical education where history and literature are integrated with art, music, and science. Scholars master math through hands-on STEAM projects, learn Latin and Spanish, explore coding, and grow in entrepreneurial skills through service. Ways you can support Innovate Academy include:

Give of your time. Innovate Academy has many opportunities for both volunteers to help with activities including art, gardening, coding, and paid staff positions. If interested, email mguaglione@innovateacademy.com.

Provide a scholarship. Innovate helps children who, by virtue of the neighborhood they were born into, would otherwise have to attend an under-performing school they are assigned to. A tax-deductible contribution to Innovate Academy provides Christian-valued education in Chadds Ford for a diverse body of students throughout the region. To make a donation, visit: www. innovateacademy.com/giving

Direct your state tax dollars. The Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) allows businesses and individuals to make significant donations to private schools using the state tax dollars they have to pay anyway! You have a choice to let those in Harrisburg decide how to spend your tax dollars, or you can choose to scholarship a student in a private school. It’s money you have to spend anyway, why not take control and support a school that supports your values. For help to take advantage of the EITC program, contact Terry Doyle at (610) 505-7047 or ChampionsForChildrenPA@gmail.com
