Our Team
RYAN & WHITNEY DERFLER
In December 2020, when many spaces closed due to the pandemic we opened JunXion Cafe. We saw how our magazine, Chadds Ford JunXion, helped neighbors learn about each other and want to connect with each other, but fewer places to meet. JunXion Cafe is our attempt to offer extraordinary hospitality, intimate funXions, a place for others to grow their business, and a place to have meaningful conversations as a community. You’ll often find us at JunXion Cafe with our family, including four kids. We’re so grateful to our sponsors who make this vision possible and to have met and served hundreds of our neighbors to date.
ISBETH ROUSCH & MARGARITA PEREZ
Founders of D’Vintage Kitchen, we’re long-time friends who have catered many events for friends, family, and those who tasted our cuisine and had to have more. We’ve sought a place to fully dive into our culinary business, and JunXion Cafe is the perfect spot! We are delighted to be able to offer our experience in the kitchen, which spans global flavors but especially Colombian and Latino flavors, to the community. We believe that food tastes best when it’s marinated in tradition and passion, which we proudly offer for visitors to JunXion Cafe and our catering customers.
SUE ALIVIO
I have been an interior designer in the community for years, and JunXion Cafe has been a fun project for me, my daughter, and her friends who often help with our seasonal updates. It’s always a joy to work on historic buildings and be able to bring modern colors and textures to create a one-of-a-kind meeting space.
